History and Mission

Our Team

Our non-profit prison ministry is located in Erie, PA , and our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping transform the lives of incarcerated men and women in the Erie, Cambridge Springs area, and the communities we live in using mindfulness training. We take our convictions and turn them into action. 

Our History

Seeing a need in prison ministry for energetic work, we formed our nonprofit organization to provide sensible solutions born from the practice of mindfulness that produces positive holistic results for incarcerated populations. Thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community we have in Erie, PA.

Our Mission

The Daystar Awareness Project is dedicated to preparing incarcerated men and women for holistic reintegration to society by systematic, intensive and evidence-based mindfulness training.
